“How is it?”
“Hmm. Sweet. Very juicy! Thank you.”
“Let me taste,” he says, drawing the cerise strawberry from her lips.
As he dips the fruit into a bowl of buttery cream, he notices her delicate tongue as it masterfully captures fleeing droplets of juice. Her brown eyes meet the silhouette of his gaze above the flickering candle light. A quiet smile emerges between the lovers. Widening his grin, he pushes the berry into his mouth and his teeth instantly dive into the cold, pitted flesh. Brilliant red nectar gushes forth, spilling from the edges of his lips. Without warning, she leans forward and licks the underside of his lower lip. The warmth of her tongue alerts his senses. Her jasmine-scented hair teases his nostrils. Her sultry breath brushes his face while her head slowly moves upward until her mouth engulfs his lower lip. Suckling at the remnants of juice, she tilts her head slightly. He reaches for her face and gently tugs her hair. Devouring one another, the lovers share a passionate kiss. Though not wanting to part, their lips disengage and their eyes meet again.
“How is it?” he asks.
She squints her eyes and glances at his inviting lips. “Sweet,” she says. “Very ... sweet.”
